Appleton Personal Injury Attorney Named to the Wisconsin Law Journal’s 2016 Women in the Law List
Appleton Personal Injury Attorney Kristen S. Scheuerman of Herrling Clark Law Firm, Ltd. has been named to the 2016 “Women in the Law” list by the Wisconsin Law Journal.
Herrling Clark Law Firm, Ltd., located in Appleton, Wisconsin, is pleased to announce that the Wisconsin Law Journal has named Partner Kristen S. Scheuerman to its 2016 “Women in the Law” honorees.
Scheuerman was chosen for this honor based on her professional excellence within the personal injury field and her contribution to the local legal community. Along with Partner John D. Claypool, Scheuerman obtained a $1.8 million Winnebago County Verdict in September 2015 for a client in a complex premises liability case. She also serves as the President of the Outagamie County Bar Association.
Scheuerman is most proud of this honor because of the example she hopes to set for her own daughter. “I want my daughter to grow up in a world where she is encouraged to be absolutely anything she wants to be. An official event honoring Scheuerman and the other Wisconsin “Women in the Law” honorees will be held on June 23, 2016, at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. She will be joined by several of her partners at this prestigious event, including firm President, Kevin Lonergan. “Kristen is not only an honor and credit to women in the law, she is a credit to all lawyers. Her passion for both her clients and the law is unparalleled in the legal community, ” says Lonergan.
Appleton Personal Injury Attorney Kristen S. Scheuerman is a partner at Herrling Clark Law Firm, Ltd. Scheuerman joined the firm in 2011, and her practice is dedicated to personal injury litigation. She obtained her B.A. from Lawrence University, and obtained her J.D. from Marquette University Law School.
Scheuerman was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Wisconsin from 2014-2015 and has been a nationally ranked “Top 10 Under 40” attorney from 2014-2016. Additionally, The National Trial Lawyers organization named Scheuerman a “Top 40 Under 40” lawyer, and she received a 2014 AVVO Client’s Choice Award within the practice area of personal injury.
Scheuerman has taught numerous legal education seminars across the state and she is actively involved within the local legal community. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Wisconsin State Bar Association, the Association for Women Lawyers, and the Outagamie County Bar Association, where she holds the position President. She is also a member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice where she serves on the Education Program Committee, and as vice-chair of the New Lawyer’s Section.
