Herrling Clark Law Firm, Ltd., is proud to announce that attorney Kevin Lonergan has assumed the position of president of the Wisconsin Law Foundation Board of Directors. His two-year term started on July 1.
The Wisconsin Law Foundation is the charitable arm of the State Bar of Wisconsin that promotes the understanding and administration of the law through funding of innovative and creative programs. As president of the board, Lonergan will help lead the foundation’s efforts in providing grants and scholarships and sponsoring State Bar programs and initiatives.
Lonergan was also selected as the chairman of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Public Education Committee for the sixth-consecutive year. The committee is responsible for the State Bar’s public education programs, which promote the value of the law and legal system to Wisconsin residents of all ages.
“I am honored to become the president of the Wisconsin Law Foundation Board and to continue as chairman of the Public Education Committee, ” Lonergan said. “I look forward to helping enact programs that strengthen the legal profession in this state.”
Appleton, Wisconsin, attorney Kevin Lonergan is the president of Herrling Clark Law Firm, Ltd., as well as a partner and shareholder. He focuses his practice on personal injury, product liability, and complex litigation.
Lonergan has earned several honors and distinctions during his career, including being named Wisconsin’s Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2014 by the Wisconsin Association for Justice. He is a past president of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and the Outagamie County Bar Association. He previously served as chairman of the State Bar’s Litigation Section.
Lonergan is a 1976 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1979 and was admitted into the State Bar of Wisconsin the same year.
