Herrling Clark Law Firm, Ltd., is proud to announce that senior partner Michael S. Siddall has earned recertification by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has been certified both as a Civil Trial Advocacy Specialist and a Civil Pre-trial Advocacy Specialist by the NBTA since 1982.

NBTA certification is an independent review process that signifies to potential clients that the certified attorney meets a high standard of practice. The NBTA approves lawyers for certification based on experience, judicial and peer references, an exam, and a background check on any disciplinary matters related to the attorney.

NBTA certification lasts for five years and requires the certified attorney to annually submit a disclosure of any misconduct. In order to be recertified, Siddall needed to pass a peer review, take continuing education courses and maintain a substantial involvement in his civil trial practice.

Appleton, Wisconsin, attorney Michael S. Siddall joined Herrling Clark Law Firm, Ltd., in 1974 and served as the firm’s president for six years. He focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury cases, such as those involving vehicle accidents, product liability and dog bites.

Siddall has been recognized as a top personal injury lawyer in the Fox Cities, the state of Wisconsin and nationally. He has been consistently named to the Super Lawyers list, placing him in the top five percent of Wisconsin lawyers. He has also received the highest possible national rating for legal ability and ethics by an international service.

Recently, Attorney Siddall took on a nationally recognized insurance company and earned a jury verdict in excess of the policy limits on behalf of his client.

Siddall serves as regional director and an executive committee member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice, the most prominent organization of personal injury trial lawyers in the state. He served two terms on the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a long-standing member of the Bench Bar Committee.
