Tara DeBruin

Meet Tara

Tara DeBruin first began her career with Herrling Clark in 1999. Before Judge Mark McGinnis took the bench, he was a shareholder at the firm, and Tara worked as his lead secretary. She also worked as a typist, supporting both Attorney Bob Loomis and Attorney Kevin Lonergan’s practices. Although Tara took some time off to raise her two young boys, she eventually returned to the firm, and we are so glad that she did.

Tara’s Work
Experience

Almost twenty years later, Tara is right back where she started. Tara grew up in Howard, Wisconsin, and she graduated from Bay Port High School. She graduated from NWTC, worked for both a financial institution and an engineering firm, and then joined Herrling Clark. Currently, Tara supports Attorney Loomis’ team, and given the demands of his practice, that support often times comes in many forms. Believe it or not, one of Tara’s favorite tasks is typing, and she is incredibly proficient! Tara loves typing so much she even bought herself an antique typewriter.

Just for Fun

When her fingers are not flying over the keyboard, Tara enjoys spending time with her family at their cottage up north. She also watches a lot of hockey, baseball, and football, cheering on her two boys.
