Alexander D. Jones joined the civil litigation team at Herrling Clark Law Firm in 2025, after working for the firm as a law clerk. Alex works in civil litigation, practicing business law, handling real estate disputes, and working on personal injury cases.
Alex grew up in Oshkosh, where he graduated from Oshkosh West High School. He then attended Ashland University in Ohio as an Ashbrook Scholar. There, he received a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Philosophy and Political Science, with minors in History and Spanish.
Alex earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School, focusing his study on the practical application of law by interning with the firm during a semester and taking skills courses taught by practicing attorneys.
A proud Eagle Scout, Alex remains involved in scouting as a merit badge counselor for civics merit badges. He also is frequently found volunteering at the Time Community Theater in Oshkosh.
With his free time, Alex enjoys playing strategy games and tabletop roleplaying games, watching Milwaukee Admirals hockey, and spending time with friends and family.
