Adam D. Bernander, a Fox Valley native from Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a dedicated member of the family law practice group at Herrling Clark Law Firm.

He focuses on divorce cases, maintenance and child support claims, property division disputes, and child custody and placement issues. With over 14 years of experience, Adam is well-equipped to assist those facing the difficult challenges of divorce, separation, or familial issues. He is driven by the opportunity to help people navigate through what may be the most emotionally trying experience of their lives.

Adam completed his undergraduate studies at UW-Milwaukee and graduated with honors from Marquette University Law School in 2005. After earning his juris doctorate, he served as a law clerk to judges in the Brown and Outagamie County circuit courts. He then worked as a staff attorney at the Brown County Child Support Agency and was later promoted to supervising attorney. In 2015, Adam transitioned to private practice, joining a local Fox Valley firm before joining Herrling Clark. In addition to his membership in the State Bar of Wisconsin, Adam is active in various local bar organizations and the Honorable Robert J. Parins Legal Society of Northeastern Wisconsin.

Adam is actively involved in the local community has served on several boards; for example, he was previously a member of the Board of Directors for the Mediation Center of Greater Green Bay as well as the Wisconsin Humane Society. When he’s not practicing law or donating his time to our community, Adam loves to spend time with his family at their cottage in Door County and traveling together. Being an avid golfer, he also loves to be on the links.
