Amanda Benton became part of the Herrling Clark team in 2014. Although she grew up in Reedsburg, Amanda also lived in North Carolina and other parts of Wisconsin before graduating from Reedsburg High School. She attended Madison Area Technical College and earned an Associate’s Degree in applied sciences with an emphasis in paralegal studies.
Experience
Amanda worked for a large law firm in Madison before relocating to Appleton to join Attorney John Claypool’s team. Amanda started at the firm as a front-line legal assistant and transitioned to her current role as a paralegal in 2016. Because of this, Amanda has a unique ability to look at a case from many angles. Amanda is an outgoing person who loves to meet new people, so she genuinely enjoys getting to know her clients and taking whatever time is needed to understand what is going on in their lives. Amanda considers it a unique privilege to be able to help someone through oftentimes one of the most difficult periods of his or her life.
When Amanda is not reading medical records or reviewing billing statements, she is likely “up north, ” enjoying time with her husband, beautiful daughter, and their families. When not doting on their daughter, Amanda and her husband love to golf, and if you are ever downtown, you will likely run into them enjoying a musical festival or community event.
